Let's Read Online 2020

 SK Puchong Perdana is now proudly organizing a programme called LET'S READ ONLINE 2020. The aim of this programme is to encourage students to read more English reading materials at home. 


First, you  go to the links provided in http://gg.gg/readingmaterials to get interesting online stories to read. You can read as many online stories you want to for FREE !!


After that, you can choose the join the contests. All participants will receive an E-Certificate for joining the contests.


The online contests are:

  1. Reading Aloud Contest     (Year, 1,2,3 students)
  2. Story Review Contest     (Year 4,5,6 students)

This reading programme will be carried out for 18 days, from (7 Sept 2020 - 30 Sept 2020)





Reading Aloud Contest

  1.  This contest is open to all Year 1,2 and 3 students.
  2.  First, a student chooses a short passage from this link  http://gg.gg/readingmaterials
  3.  Then, the student practices reading the text aloud at home for several times.
  4. When everything is ready, the student reads the text aloud and the parents record a video by a smartphone.
  5.  Make sure to mention Name, Class, Title of The Story/Passage at the beginning of the video.
  6. The length of the video must not more than 2 minutes.
  7. Send the video to Sir Nabil at 011-28845108 by WhatsApp.
  8. The closing date of sending the video is 24 September 2020.
  9. A student can send maximum 2 videos only.
  10. Please fill in the form (https://forms.gle/b9fL9KgBX4Fe8RPQA) after you finish reading a new online story.



Story Review Contest

  1.  This contest is open to all Year 4,5 and 6 students.
  2.  First, a student chooses a short story from this link: http://gg.gg/readingmaterials
  3.  The student needs to fully read the story at home.
  4.  Download or use the Story Review Form below.
  5.  Write a review about the story on the form.
  6. Then, snap a picture of the review by smartphone.
  7. Send the review to Sir Nabil at 011-28845108 by WhatsApp.
  8. The closing date of sending the review is 24 September 2020.
  9. A student can send 1 or MAXIMUM 2 story reviews to participate.
  10. Please fill in the form (https://forms.gle/b9fL9KgBX4Fe8RPQA) after you finish reading a new online story.
